Hello!
I’m a mathematics graduate from the University of Cagliari, where I developed a strong passion for algebra and number theory. My academic journey has led me to focus particularly on abstract finite group theory and the theory of skew braces—areas that continue to fascinate me because of their elegance and rich structure.
In general, I really enjoy problems related to classification and structural analysis, such as classifying groups with certain properties or understanding how subgroups and subskew braces influence the overall structure of a group or skew brace.
I’m also passionate about sharing mathematics in an accessible way through my YouTube channel (see https://www.youtube.com/@marcodamele) . I love “breaking down, dissecting, and unpacking” mathematical proofs to make the ideas behind them understandable to everyone. On my channel, you’ll find lots of videos about university-level mathematics and beyond. The main focus is on Algebra and Number Theory, but I also share interviews, personal experiences, and simpler problems that anyone can enjoy.
